SecureFX SFXCL Command-Line Utility

SecureFX® SFXCL Command-Line Utility (Windows and Linux)

SecureFX has a number of advanced features that allow you to make regularly scheduled file transfer operations more time-efficient, including a command-line tool that enables automated secure file transfer operations.

SFXCL Capabilities

The SFXCL command-line utility available on SecureFX for Windows and Linux allows you to fully automate file transfer processes. SFXCL supports the ability to:

  • Create and run batch scripts for recurrent operations, including site synchronizations.
  • Delete, rename, move, and list files.
  • Automate tasks using Windows "Scheduled Tasks" function (Windows Scheduler).

The security of your data is in no way compromised when sending files and synchronizing sites using the SFXCL command-line tool to automate operations using a secure protocol (i.e., SFTP, SCP, and FTP over SSL). Eliminate passwords in your SFXCL batch scripts by specifying public key-only authentication for SFTP and SCP file transfers.

Those new to the SecureFX command-line tool can find useful information, including correct syntax for command line arguments, on SFXCL Automation Tips. Other resources that may provide additional tips and troubleshooting support include:
