Secure File Transfers
SecureFX provides multiple layers of security for your data in transit.
Impersonation attacks are prevented through user authentication. SecureFX supports a number of user authentication methods, including:
- Passwords
- Public keys, including smart cards
- Kerberos v5 via GSSAPI
- Signed certificates (for FTP over TLS)
Man-in-the-middle attacks are mitigated by host authentication.
Data hijacking and eavesdropping are prevented by using strong data encryption. SecureFX supports encrypted connections using a number of secure file transfer protocols:
- SFTP
- SCP
- FTP over TLS
Expanded File Transfer Capabilities
SecureFX allows you to do more than discrete file transfers between a client and server. Unlike many file transfer programs, SecureFX gives you the ability to:
- Transfer files from one server to another.
- Synchronize sites.

The graphical user interface and tabbed sessions allow you to easily manage multiple connections and file transfers in one window. The layout can be customized for easy viewing.
Site synchronization capabilities allow you to upload, download, and mirror local and remote sites. Filtering (including wildcard support) enables you to include or exclude files or file types from synchronization operations. The SFXCL command-line client (available for Windows applications only) enables unattended file transfers.
The relentless file transfer feature automatically resumes interrupted file transfers using SFTP or FTP over TLS.
