SecureFX's Relentless File Transfer Feature

SecureFX®'s Relentless File Transfer Feature

SecureFX is a very user-friendly file transfer client. In addition to the familiar interface and customizable menus and toolbars, SecureFX aids efficiency by minimizing your work in the event of an interrupted file transfer.

Relentless Reconnection

File transfer operations can be time-consuming, and they are even more so if you have to completely restart them after a network interruption. But SecureFX has a relentless file transfer feature that automatically reconnects after an unexpected disconnect.

Once a connection has been reestablished, SecureFX will also automatically resume most file transfer operations*. The relentless reconnect and automatic resume features are particularly beneficial for large file transfers and/or operations with large queues.

Defining Relentless

SecureFX's Global Options dialog allows you to define the parameters of relentless file transfer. You can select:

  • Maximum number of attempts to reconnect (up to 32000)
  • Time delay between attempts (up to nine hours)

You may also specify whether or not you want to be prompted to resume the transfer.
