How to relocate the directory where SecureCRT stores your configuration information
Prior to 3.4, relocating the Config directory can be done
by changing or adding one of the following registry STRING
values:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Van Dyke Technologies\SecureCRT
3.0\Global [Config Path]=desired path to config
or
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Van Dyke Technologies\CRT 3.0\Global [Config Path]=desired path
to config
In SecureCRT 3.4 and newer, this is now available from
Global Options, under the Options / Advanced category.
Change the Configuration folder setting to modify where your
global and session settings are stored.
