Changes in the VanDyke ClientPack 6.1 (Beta 2) -- July 2, 2008 -------------------------------------------------------------- Bug fixes: - If a client was running during an upgrade install, the installer continued to report that a file was in use after the client was closed and Retry was selected. - The installer did not handle the answer file option INSTALLATION_PROFILE. - vsh: GSSAPI authentication did not work. - vsh: If -1 or -2 was passed as an argument to a remote command, it was interpreted as the protocol for vsh to use. Changes in the VanDyke ClientPack 6.1 (Beta 1) -- June 19, 2008 --------------------------------------------------------------- New features: - vsftp: Added a batch option (-b) to read in a list of commands from a file. - vsftp: Added the commands "exit", "continue", and "exit-all" which provide control over how errors are handled in batched commands. - vsftp: Added a "view" command which downloads the specified file and opens it in the default editor or appropriate application. - vsftp: Added a "detail" command which displays the system information for the specified file. - vsftp: If the remote server is VShell for Windows 3.5 or later, there is a "su" command in vsftp that allows you to become a different user. Bug fixes: - UNIX: When using public-key authentication, if connecting to agent failed, authentication failed. - vcp: Under certain circumstances, vcp immediately disconnected after connecting to an SSH Communications server. - vsh: If the output was redirected, banner messages were not redirected. - vsftp: On some platforms, such as rhel5 and rhel4-64, wildcard (ls -l *) file listings were returned in the wrong order.
